No. NXT GEN WEB hosts websites we build and can also take over hosting and maintenance for existing websites built by another company. This keeps the hosting and maintenance relationship connected to the site’s development and the support responsibilities agreed with the client.
What is included in hosting and maintenance?
The plan can include website hosting, SSL support, software maintenance, backup arrangements, performance review and content or minor updates. The actual services and responsibilities are set out in your proposal or maintenance plan.
Do you maintain WordPress websites?
Yes. We maintain WordPress websites we build and existing WordPress sites transferred to us. We review your themes, plugins and integrations first, then agree on the updates and support included in your plan.
Are software updates automatic?
The update approach depends on the website and the agreed plan. Compatibility, recovery options and important features should be considered when deciding how core, theme and plugin updates are handled.
Do you provide backups?
Backup arrangements and recovery responsibilities are agreed in the plan. We make those details clear so you know what is covered and how a restoration request would be handled.
Can you make text and image updates for me?
Yes. Content and minor layout updates can be handled within the time and scope included in your plan. Larger changes or new features are reviewed and quoted separately where needed.

No website can be promised complete protection from every issue. Ongoing maintenance, appropriate configuration, updates and recovery planning help manage risk, with the work included in your plan clearly defined.

Yes. If traffic, content or website features create different resource needs, we can review the hosting arrangement and discuss suitable changes. Any additional resources or services are scoped before implementation.
How do I transfer my existing website to NXT GEN WEB?
Send us your website address and tell us what support you need. We review your site and access requirements, confirm the scope and any transfer costs, then coordinate backups, migration, testing and the hosting switch. Keep your current hosting active until we confirm the move is complete. A redesign is not required just because another company built your site.
How do existing clients request support?
